If you've been following our Instagram Stories, you know we've been testing out a super cool feature. The plan was to spend all of this season testing it and launch it next year with more polish and wider coverage, but honestly, it's such a killer feature we simply couldn't wait.
Live Lift & Trail Status on Slopes
View Live Lift & Trail Status directly on the recording screen, and anytime on the interactive maps in the Resorts tab. Supported resorts will display lift status for all users, including those of you using the free version of Slopes.
Trail status is available for Slopes Premium riders, and trails will be faded out when they are marked as closed. Filters are enabled by default and can be toggled via the map settings.
As a result of the much earlier-than-expected launch, live status is rolling out now on iOS for +50 resorts in North America
US: Alpine Meadows, Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Snowmass, Beaver Creek, Big Boulder, Big Sky, Bogus Basin, Breckenridge, Brighton, Buttermilk, Chestnut Mountain Resort, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Crystal Mountain, Deer Valley, Eldora, Heavenly, Holiday Valley, Hunter Mountain, Jack Frost, Jackson Hole, Keystone, Killington, Kirkwood, Loon Mountain, Loveland, Mad River, Mammoth Mountain, Mount Bachelor, Mount Snow, Mount Sunapee, Mt. Brighton, Mt. Hood Meadows, Okemo, Palisades Tahoe, Park City, Pico Mountain, Seven Springs, Snowbasin, Snowbird, Snowshoe, Solitude Mountain, Steamboat, Stevens Pass, Stowe, Stratton Mountain, Sugarbush, Sugarloaf, Summit at Snoqualmie-Central, Sunday River, Telluride, Vail, Whitefish, Winter Park.
CA: Blue Mountain, Mont Tremblant, Revelstoke, Whistler Blackcomb.
This is an experimental feature with limited rollout on iOS, so let us know what you think, what you want to see, for when we bring it to the entire platform (Android included), with more resorts.
Live status is also integrated with the resort search card, so you can quickly check any lift or trail, and filter on status, type, and categories.
So, here's to an epic season on the Slopes, and don't forget to update the app, and check out our latest awesome features! Happy Holidays!
